The Bookcafe Belper
With branches in Belper & Derby, The Book Cafe offers a friendly and relaxed cafe setting with great drinks and freshly made food on offer – with food menus often featuring locally sourced dishes. During lockdown they’re offering breakfast, lunch, coffees, cakes and afternoon tea.
How to buy: The Derby branch is closed, but the Belper branch is open 7 days a week for takeaway, with click and collect options available through the website or the ‘shop now’ button on Facebook.

Dot-teas is a community cafe in Belper providing an array of delicious savoury and sweet options to keep you well-fed during your Christmas shop! Offerings include hot meals such as curry & rice, breakfast cobs, light lunches and a variety of sweet treats.
How to buy: Open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 1pm for take out. Meals can be ordered with 24 hours notice by calling 07950 594663, or message through the Facebook page. There’s a free delivery option if you live within 3 miles of the shop.

Vegan Revelation Café describes its food as ‘Dirty Wholesome Vegan’. It’s a deli during the week, with a takeaway menu running on Friday & Saturday nights. Gluten free options are available for each dish, although the café notes that they may contain traces.
